Will “Climategate” be the end of Cap & Trade?

The East Anglia emails continue to churn in the part of the media that isn’t wholly owned by the left.

For those who have not been following this story, the University of East Anglia Climate Research Unit (CRU) is considered the “keeper” of the global warming narrative.  Their data and computer models have been used by most of the groups pushing the agenda, including the UN IPCC.  Now a hacker (or possibly an internal whistle-blower) has made public 60mb of emails to and from the CRU scientists that show a wide scale pattern of falsified data, active suppression of dissent and manipulation of science and media on a global scale.   It is plausible that the release could be the tipping point that exposes the whole Global Warming Hysteria for what it is – a massive fraud aimed at crippling the economies of the western democracies.

This has the feel of the Acorn scandal in that the story won’t go away and the MSM will have to cover it eventually. We even have Barbara Boxer calling the release of the emails a “criminal act” that needs to be investigated. This post will track some of the more interesting articles about the issue.
