Wreaths Across America this Saturday!

This is an invitation to attend the annual Wreaths Across America wreath
laying ceremony on Saturday, 11 December, 2010, at South Florida National
Cemetery. Staging times have been moved up from the prior post due to the large number of participants anticipated. A total of 618 wreaths will be delivered to South Florida National Cemetery to be laid upon the resting places of our departed heroes. This will be the largest wreath laying event to date at this cemetery. A big “Thank you” to “Can-Do” and USMVMC for their fundraising efforts and to all MC’s and individuals that supported this effort this year.
Staging; 0930 hrs-1030 hrs

Parade Line Up; 1100-1130 hrs. the line up will be as follows;
1)Bikes flying 3X5 flags will lead;
2)followed by USMVMC, for their outstanding fundraising efforts; I
think we can all agree that they deserve special recognition on this
day for their efforts .
3)then all MC’s in order of their arrival, stage in lane 1
4)then all MA’s, in order of their arrival, stage in lane2
5)then all Riders Clubs, and independents, then the host, Patriot
Guard Riders, stage in lane 3
6)then Palm Beach & Broward Pipe and Drum Corps, followed by American Legion Color Guard/ Honor Guard,stage in lane 4
8)then PO1C NAVOPS Support Center WPB and other marching groups….in order of their arrival.stage in lane 5
Parade to ceremonial area; @ 1130 hrs.; Color guard will stop at Flagpole
to present the Colors when requested. All motors will proceed on to stage 4X in front of old Admin trailers. Those marching on foot will proceed to ceremonial area.
At the completion of the ceremonies we will be placing wreaths, at a
minimum, on as many resting places of all the rest as directed by cemetery personnel.

WE WILL BE MEETING AT THE SUPERWALMART ON THE SW CORNER OF OAKLAND PARK BLVD AND STATE ROAD 7 (441). PLEASE BE THERE BEFORE 8:30AM AS WE WILL BE LEAVING AT 8:30AM SHARP. WE WILL CONSOLIDATE RIDES AND WE WILL HAVE A CARAVAN GOING NORTH ON STATE ROAD 7. LOOK FOR THE FLAG TRUCK (SEE PICTURE) AS IT WILL LEAD THE CARAVAN. Note I spoke to “CAN DO” from the US military VETS MC and
there will be a replica of the vietnam wall there for all of you to see.
