Brian Mudd, WJNO’s Program Director, highlights our next SFL 912 Meeting
The next monthly meeting of South Florida 912 will be held on February 8th at 7pm at:
The Original Wellington Mall center court
12794 W. Forest Hill Blvd
Wellington , FL 33414
We’re excited to announce that our guest speaker will be Brian Mudd – Program Director for WJNO (1290 AM) and co-host of the Palm Beaches Morning Report. Regular listeners of Hannity’s radio show may have heard Brian fill in for Hannity back on 12/29. He spoke of the impact of government actions on small business and on the importance of local activism. Brian, as WJNO’s Financial Advisor, often speaks about economic and local taxation issues.
Since much of our local involvement has focused on areas such as county spending and taxation (via our involvement with Taxpayer Action Board), and ethics (through our actions on the original ordinances) – Brian will be covering economic matters (such as small business, inflation, PBC Taxes). We’ve also asked him to talk about how best to access media – because publicizing what we’re doing has major impact on our future successes. We’ll have some time for Q’s and A’s, and he’s also interested in asking us questions!
Some other topics for our meeting will include a TAB update, a Palm Beach County Charter Review update, a possible call to action on the drafting of the county-wide Inspector General ordinance, and an update on 912 Super Seniors.
So join us for an exciting and informative meeting.
