ppoll.org Sponsors President’s Day Town Hall and Civic Engagement Fair

ppoll.org is a relatively new organization that purports to influence federal legislation through public polling and other means. There is a local PBC chapter, led by Jay Pellis who sent us the following note regarding an upcoming event that is co-sponsored with the League of Women Voters and Palm Beach State College. It features a town hall meeting with County Mayor Steve Abrams and others, and what they call a “civic engagement fair”, which presumably involves exhibits by local activist groups.

Check it out and let us know what you think.

Here is Jay’s note:

In mid-November (11/16 to be exact), I contacted South Florida 912 to introduce Ppoll Now. We have made progress in our effort to strengthen the relationship between the people and our U.S. Representatives. We still have a long way to go. I hope you will consider joining our community.

I would like to invite you and members of South Florida 912 to a Presidents Day Town Hall meeting on February 18.

Below is event information for the first of a series of Town Hall meetings our organization plans to sponsor. Ppoll Now is a nonpartisan 501(c)(3) program seeking to strengthen the relationship between the people and our U.S. Representatives. A prototype is available at Ppoll.org
