My thoughts on PBC 2

After some soul searching and education on the matter I am saying yes to this. Why you might ask. Because I have seen first hand the budget cuts and tightening of the belt on the school districts part. They are making so many changes to really cut cost and at the same time educate our kids. The budget is so tight, and our kids are so important. I will note that this was a contested topic amongst 912 leadership and majority is voting no.

We like to be a little different here and ask you to decide not tell you… Pray about it then vote. That is what I do every time.

Is there work to be done of course… However that is where the citizens need to get involved and speak up.

What ever you decide on the issue please vote. whatever you decide it’s important to have your voice heard.

God Bless and have a great day.

Prayer and thoughts on 9/11

13 YEARS LATER… A day for national remembrance, reflection, and prayer.

God bless the families of those lost on this day, as America honors the lives of those first responders who ran into harm’s way – and led others to safety – on September 11th, 2001 in New York City.

New York City… Pennsylvania… and the Pentagon in our nation’s capital.

May our gratitude extend to all Americans & their families who have defended our country in uniform since 9/11.

May God bless America.

Thursday Rally for Israel and Christians in Iraq

I was just notified if this event and wanted to share the details

Subject: Rally for Israel and Persecuted Christians in Iraq, this Thurs. at 4:30 pm

Rally for Israel and Christians in Iraq
This Thursday, August 28 at 4:30 PM
At the SE corner of Glades Road and St. Andrews in Boca Raton
(near Town Center Mall – Please do not park at Chase Bank)
The Jewish and Christian communities of South Florida, and all others who support life and freedom, will be coming together this Thursday for a rally in support of Israel and the persecuted Christians of Iraq. We will be standing together as one voice in strong opposition to the growing threat of radical forces such as ISIS and Hamas that have declared themselves to be deadly enemies of both Jews and Christians. We cannot let this danger go unanswered. Please join us as we stand up for our shared values in support of life and freedom.
We urge the government and people of the United States to support Israel’s right to defend itself, and to protect the lives of persecuted Christians and other minority groups fleeing the radical forces in the Middle East.
It would be appropriate to bring flags of Israel and the United States, as well as signs in support of Israel and the persecuted Christians in Iraq.
Sponsored by Congregation L’Dor Va-Dor, the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem, Broward Pastors Network, and Olive Tree Congregation. All are welcome to join our list of sponsors.
For more information please call Rabbi Barry Silver (561) 302-1818
or Pastor Michael Maass, local liaison for ICEJ (561) 232-0285

I am the Nation event this Saturday at Christ Fellowship Join Us

Join us this Saturday night for the 6:30pm service.

Wear your Patriotic clothes or a 912 shirt.
David Barton will not be at every service, however I have been assured he will be at the Saturday night service.  He will be at two of the Sunday services, however as of this post, they are not sure which ones.  Contact Christ Fellowship directly for more information.
We have gone to the patriotic services in prior years and it has always been a powerful event.  It makes it even more special to go with friends.  We are planning to meet  in the Lobby about 6:oopm and then go inside together to be seated.  Our goal is to sit center right.

Don’t miss this powerful weekend historian David Barton leads us in an unforgettable celebration of our great nation. Every year at CF we look beyond the fireworks, picnics and barbecues, to pay special tribute to that day over 200 years ago, our day of independence.  Come celebrate our country’s rich heritage, remember the lives lost and thank God for His blessing of freedom.
  • PALM BEACH GARDENS: 5343 Northlake Blvd. Palm Beach Gardens. FL 33418, Phone #561.799.7600

  • Wear Patriotic clothing / 912 shirt
  • Attempt to sit near each other CENTER RIGHT of the church.

Happy Passover and Happy Easter

It is the time of year to spend with your friends and family and we have decided that since our meeting would have fallen on Holy Thursday and during Passover, in respect for our faiths, we decided to cancel our April meeting. We look forward to seeing you at the next meeting on Thursday, May 8th at Hurricane Grill and Wings in Wellington, and at the South Florida National Cemetery on Memorial Day.

We pray that you have a happy and healthy holiday as you spend time together.
