Florida House district 87 is currently held by Republican Majority Leader Adam Hasner (R) who won his first term in 2002 with 56% of the vote. In the subsequent elections of 2004, 2006 and 2008, he won with 59%, 56%, and 62% respectively. Term limits preclude him from running in 2010.
